Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry is very 🐭concerned about information about a pregnant girl in China who is supposed a Vietnamese national, Deputy Spokesperson for the Foreign 🌞Ministry Pham Thu Hang said.

In reply to reporters’ queries about the case on October 11, the diplomat said the Foreign Ministry instructed the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing and the Vietnamese Consulate General in Shanghai to contact concerned authorities to verify the information as soon as possible. The Vietnamese Consulate General in Shanghai held a working session with police in the Chinese province of Jiangsu to arrange a meeting with the girl for more details, she said. Further details will be announced to the media following the official working session with the Chinese side, the official said.-VNA
