Industry ministry issues regulations on citizen reception

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has recently signed into action the ministry’s regulations on reception for citizens, which took effect right after the signing.

Hanoi (VNA) – Ministerof Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has recently signed into action theministry’s regulations on reception for citizens, which took effect right afterthe signing.

The reception, open on weekdays atthe ministry’s headquarters at No.54 Hai Ba Trung street, Hanoi, aims toacquire public feedback on violations of the Party and State policies andguidelines, and direct citizens to exercise their rights and obligations when theyfile complaints and denunciations.

The minister is scheduled to receivecitizens on Friday of each month’s third week. In case he is absent, a deputyminister will take on the task.

In cases of urgency, the ministerwill meet citizens out of schedule.

The ministry’s inspectors areresponsible for making periodic reports on citizen receptions and thesettlement of complaints and denunciations and submit them to the ministry’sleaders before the 15th day of each quarter’s last month, making iteasier for them to report to the Government Inspectorate.

Violations regarding citizenreceptions will be strictly dealt with in line with the law.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
