– TheVietnam Industrial and Manufacturing Fair 2017 (VIMF 2017) opened in thesouthern province of Binh Duong on June 7, drawing thousands of visitors.

The event offered a chance for firmsin Binh Duong and neighbouring localities to get access to new machines and equipment,seek partners and expand markets.

VIMF 2017 brought together morethan 250 booths from 15 countries and territories, including Singapore, Japan,the Republic of Korea, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, the US, Indonesia,Turkey, Italy, Germany, Australia and host Vietnam.

On display are the latest toolsand equipment used in metalworking, metrology and measurement, 3D printing andsoftware for manufacturing, among others.

Various activities will also beheld during the fair such as symposiums on automation, manufacturingconnection, 3D printing and design, with the participation of foreign andVietnamese experts.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
