Jakarta (VNA)🌠 – The Indonesian government will continue to pay for COVID-19 vaccination and treatment, spokesperson for the country’s COVID-19task force, Wiku Adisasmitos announced on June 22.
The statement came a day after Indonesia declared anend to the pandemic status for COVID-19 after most Indonesians had developedantibodies against the virus. Government data shows 86.87% of the targeted 234.6 million people have got their first COVID-19 dose, and about 74.54 % have received their second dose.
The vaccination rate for the third dose stood at38.01%, and Indonesia still needs to work on this, Wiku said.
