Hanoi (VNA)ꦛ – As part of India’sNamaste Vietnam Festival, a film festival taking place from August 13-15 in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to wow cinephiles.

The line-up includes “The Signature”, “Roam Rome Men”,“Tuition”, “Hum do hamre do”, “Chhallang”, “Popcorn”, and “Kaya Palat”. Meanwhile, the Namaste Vietnam Festival 2023 will beheld in the city from August 12-17. Participants will also be treated to performances by famousIndian artists and directors. Vietnamese singer Vo Ha Tram, owner of big hit "Ve Voi Em", will be the specialguest of the event.

The first edition of the festival lasted for one month in HCM City last year asa major programme to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence Dayand the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-India diplomatic ties./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
