Phai Di, who is also a Politburo member andthe Editor-in-Chief of India’s New Age newspaper, said the CommunistParty of India was particularly keen to cooperate on sharing informationand experience in policymaking,
He said Vietnam’sachievements during its renewal process over the last 30 years, led bythe CPV, provided a valuable lesson for communist and left-wing partiesaround the world.
Quan assured his guest that the CPV highlyvalued and treasured its ties with the CPI, and looked forward todeepening the bilateral relations, which were established 35 years ago,particularly at multilateral and international forums in the spirit ofthe strategic partnership between the two countries.
Intalks earlier that day, Samim Phai Di and Deputy Head of the CPV CentralCommittee’s Commission for External Relations Nguyen Huy Tang sharedtheir experiences in developing a socialist-oriented market economy anddiscussed how to bolster ties between the two Parties and nations.
While in Vietnam, the Indian guest is due to meet former VicePresident Nguyen Thi Binh and hold working sessions with seniorofficials in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the southern province KienGiang.-VNA
The leaders noted that the two sides had agreed to turn scientific and technological cooperation into a pillar and a new highlight of bilateral relations.
This is a crucial session to consider and give opinions on a wide range of issues to be submitted to the NA's 10th sitting – the final of the current term, which will review the 2021–2026 tenure and prepare for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s first general election.
