Hung Yen (VNA) – ♏The northern province of Hung Yen targets 92 percent of residents having access to clean water by year’s end.

To achieve this, local authorities invested in sanitation programmes and water supply technologies.
It has completed 23 projects on water supply and toilet facilities at medical units and schools. A total of 22,000 new water meters have been installed since the beginning of the year.
Communications campaigns have also been implemented, as more than 11,000 documents on fresh water and rural sanitation were disseminated across ten districts. Residents were urged to plant trees, clean up after themselves and save water.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
