Hung Yen keeps door open for Vietnamese firms in Russia: provincial leader

Moscow (VNA) – Hung Yen always provides optimalconditions for overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Russia to invest in thenorthern province, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s CommitteeNguyen Duy Hung said while meeting leaders of the Hung Yen Compatriots' Associationin Russia recently.

A representative of the Standing Board of the association said that the association currently has nearly 200 members who are doing businessesin Lyublino and Sadovod, the two largest trade centres of Moscow.

In recent years, due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic andthe Russia-Ukraine conflicts, the Vietnamese community in Russia in general andHung Yen people in particular have faced many difficulties. However, they havemaintained solidarity to overcome the hard circumstance.
The representative also proposed the implementation of aninvestment project in Hung Yen, and suggested that Hung Yen set up the twinning relations with Russia’s Sverdlovsk province in Urals region.

Hung said that the province will consider proposals from theassociation, further fostering the connections between overseas Vietnamese inRussia and their homeland.

Hung and the Hung Yen delegation also had a meeting withleaders of the Vietnamese Association in St. Petersburg and explored theplanning of the city during their stay in Russia.

Earlier, the delegation also toured Belarus where they hadworking sessions with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodand Minsk province on the cooperation potential between the two sides./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
