Hue children receive free dental care

More than 3,500 children in central Thua Thien-Hue province on March 23 received free dental check-ups by a delegation of 18 nurses and doctors from American NGO Operation Smile.

More than 3,500 children in central Thua Thien-Hue province on March 23 received free dental check-ups by a delegation of 18 nurses and doctors from American NGO Operation Smile.

During its five-day stay, the delegation provided free check-ups and treatment for dental-jaw facial diseases for primary pupils in Huong Tra, Phong Dien, Huong Thuy, and Phu Loc districts, and Hue city.

This is the seventh visit such a delegation has taken to provide free surgery for more than 300 children with facial deformities in the locality.

Apart from providing free check-ups, the delegation also 🅺provided local doctors with new technologies ไfor dental treatment./.
