The provincial People’s Committee also planned to evacuate other 20 families and blocked the traffic via provincial highway 254 as the hole is quite near to the road which links Cho Don and Ba Be districts in the province.
According to the province’s Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the area has complicated Karst topography. The province will ask for assistance from the Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam to identify the cause of the sink hole.-VNA
