India's Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has just initiated an anti-dumping investigation into hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel, originating or exported from Vietnam, according to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam.

Hoa Phat Group's steel output in July reached 700,000 tonnes, up 70 percent from the same period last year.

Steel maker Hoa Phat Group is recruiting experienced personnel for a cargo container manufacturing project expected to start production in the second quarter of next year, according to the company.
