A citrus festival and agricultural fair in the northwestern mountainous province of Hoa Binh will be held on November 24-25 this year in Cao Phong district, according to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Dung.

Hoa Binh (VNA) – 🌠A citrus festival and agricultural fair in the northwestern mountainous province of Hoa Binh will be held on November 24-25 this year in Cao Phong district, according to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Dung.
The events are part of activities which aim to bolster agricultural and rural investment in the province as well as the development of citrus trading in the region. Dung said that they offer opportunities for Hoa Binh province to introduce its specialties to consumers, especially citruses like orange, pomelo and tangerine. The fairs will also help to introduce procedures and policies to attract more businesses and investors to the province. About 200 booths are expected to gather at the Hoa Binh citrus festival and agricultural fair, with the participation of local farmers, cooperatives and businesses of other provinces. On display at the events will be local farm produce, high-tech agricultural equipment, and traditional craft products. In addition, the events will feature a number of cultural activities, a beauty contest and a firework display. The provincial People’s Committee has instructed authorised agencies to thoroughly prepare a list of agricultural projects that need investment and a selection of specialities at the fairs. It also works to organise an activity to bolster investment with technology application and arrange a festival to promote Hoa Binh’s landscape and people in the coming time.–VNA
