HCM City (VNA) – A project on smart interac🌱tive museums willbe piloted at the Southern Women’s Museum and the Cu Chi Tunnel HistoricalComplex in Ho Chi Minh City.
The information was revealed at a working session between the municipalPeople’s Committee and project partners on August 17 in the city. The project aims to help visitors explore museums through personalmobile devices and 3D models. Techniques to be used at the Women’s Museum include interactive boardsand mobile application for relic information searching, hologram and 3D imagesexhibitions and multilingual interpretation, among others, according to the Centrefor Technology and Science Development of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union, theunit responsible for designing the project. Visitors will discover the Cu Chi Tunnel through a map, an interactivesystem introducing the tunnel history and a virtual reality space. The project will modernise objects display and management system,improving operation quality of museums using information technology. It is expected to not only preserve historicaland cultural values but also promote history education among young generationsand enhance the city’s tourism quality. -VNA
The noble sacrifices of Vietnamese wars heroes and martyrs, who shed blood for national freedom and independence, are being honoured at an exhibition at Hoa Lo Prison Museum in downtown Hanoi.
A thematic exhibition entitled Di Qua Cuoc Chien (Going through the Wars) is being held at the capital’s Ho Chi Minh Museum on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day on July 27.
