Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) organised 16 auctionsfor divestment in 2020 with total transaction value of 3 trillion VND (130.2million USD).
 
The total amount of shares for sale at the auctions was 96.9 million shares. Asmany as 92 million shares were sold, equal to 94.9 percent of the sharesoffered.

In December alone, the HNX held three auctions, including two of the ViettelMilitary Industry and Telecoms Group at Viettel Construction Corporation andViettel Consultant and Design Joint Stock Company, and the other of the Housingand Urban Development (HUD) Investment Corporation at HUD Kien Giang JointStock Company.

The HNX offered more than 43.2 million shares in the auctions. Investors bidfor 39.3 million shares, accounting for 91 percent of the offered amount.

The HNX said it will auction shares of the Ha Tinh Agro-Forestry DevelopmentJoint Stock Company on January 7, 2021./.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
