Herbalife Family Foundation helps disadvantaged children

The Herbalife Family Foundation has recently announced that it will fund more than 1 billion VND (45,000 USD) for its Casa Herbalife programme this year to help disadvantaged children.

Under the programme,the Huong Duong Orphanage in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang andthe Dong Tam Social Sponsorship Centre in the southern province of BinhDuong will each obtain a financial aid package of over 512 million VND(22,500 USD).

Huong Duong and Dong Tam received funds for the second and third time, respectively.

Themoney will be used to improve meals for children and ensure foodhygiene and safety during processing. It will also be used to supportsporting and cultural activities such as martial arts classes andlibraries.

Harbalife Family Foundation is a non-profitorganization dedicated to improving the lives of children by helpingcharitable organisations provide healthy nutrition to children in need.

It also often supports relief efforts in response to catastrophic natural disasters around the world.

Thefoundation has introduced Casa Herbalife since 2005 and has supported120 programmes in 50 countries and serves the daily nutritional needs ofmore than 100,000 children daily.-VNA
