HCM City women’s football team lose to RoK

Ho Chi Minh City’s female football team lost 1-0 to a team from Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) at a friendship match in HCM City on October 22.

HCM City (VNA) – Ho Chi Minh City’sfemale football team lost 1-0 to a team from Gyeongsangbuk-do province of theRepublic of Korea (RoK) at a friendship match in HCM City on October 22.

With advantages in physique and skills, theKorean side dominated the match from the beginning. Yoon Dakyoung tung scoredthe goal in the 26th minute.

Although the host girls failed to equalise the score, they tried their best toprevent the Korean team from finding the net again.   

The match offered an opportunity for the HCM City women’s football team to gain practical experience for the 2017Vietnam’s Women Football Championship slated in November this year.-VNA
