HCM City to pilot high-quality buses on two routes

HCM City (VNA) - A number ofhigh-quality buses will be used on a trial run on bus routes No 03 and 33 inDecember, said Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Transport.

Both of the routes will carry passengersfrom the city centre to outlying areas. Each day, bus route No 03 (23/9 Park – BenThanh – Thanh Loc) will have 312 trips, while bus route No 33 (An Suong – VietnamNational University) will have 440 trips.

The department said the buses will useenvironmentally friendly Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and offer better qualityservices than many that are used now.

The buses will be punctual and continue tooffer discounts for students, the elderly and people with disabilities. The busworkers will also be polite and professional, according to the department.
