HCM City (VNA) –The Ho Chi Minh City 2016 International Martial Arts Festival will be hel𝕴🐭d from April 22 to24.
The festival, hosted by the municipal People’s Committee for the first time, will include 15 martial arts delegations nationwide and 12 international teams, including those from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea.
The event will be held at the Military Zone 7 Stadium, Ton Duc Thang University’s Stadium, and the HCM City Municipal Theatre with activities including martial art performances, seminars and competitions.
The festival is an opportunity to promote both the Vietnamese traditional and the Vovinam martial arts styles, as well as contributing to popularising the city’s image.
On the occasion, the organising board announced that the Number 1 Corporation will be the main sponsor of the festival.-VNA
