HCM City to educate new business leaders

Ho Chi Minh City will open 363 training courses on business start-ups and administration at a total cost of 25 billion VND (1.2 million USD) in 2015.
Ho Chi Minh City will open 363 training courses on business start-upsand administration at a total cost of 25 billion VND (1.2 million USD)in 2015.

As part of the business training programmeapproved by the municipal People’s Committee, the courses are designedfor managers of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), individualswho intend to start a business, and company leaders with less thanthree-year experience in the field.

The traineeswill receive necessary information on the policies and legal documentsof the Party and State regarding business start-ups, strategies andoperations. Skills such as personnel management, marketing andaccounting will also be covered.

Solutions to savingenergy, applying international management systems and measuring thequality of the products and services will also be introduced during thecourses.

The classes are also expected to updateparticipants on the latest information about Vietnam’s tradeactivities and its new export markets.

The city’sadministrators have pledged to further improve the investment climateand work alongside local enterprises to overcome hurdles so as the citywill continue playing its role as an engine of Vietnam’s growth.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
