Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee launched the city’s website as partof the Government’s e-portal at a ceremony on June 14.
The site, which can be accessed via the links tphcm.chinhphu.vn,tphcm.vn, or hochiminhcity.vn, provides official information on thelargest economic hub in southern Vietnam.
Built bythe Government’s e-portal and the municipal Department of Informationand Communications, it will carry latest information on the city’sdomestic and foreign affairs with a view to popularizing the city’simages.
A database on the city is also expected to be added to this site in the time ahead.
Vice Chairman of the Government’s Office Le Manh Ha said theestablishment of the HCM City website is crucial to diversifying thecontent of the government’s e-portal and further disseminatinginformation on HCM City to people nationwide.
It isalso part of the road map for connecting the Government’s administrativeinformation websites and State agencies’ e-portals, he added.-VNA
