HCM City (VNA) – Ho Chi MinhCity joined the Saint Petersburg International Book Fair in Russia for thefirst time, which was held from May 23-26 with more than 200 publishing housesfrom various countries.

Thecity’s pavilion showcased more than 300 titles from various Vietnamesepublishing houses as well as books on President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese seasand islands, culture, history, tourism, investment and others in Vietnamese,English, French and Russian.

The Saint PetersburgInternational Book Fair is the largest book fair in North-West Russia and wasestablished in 2008 by the Russian Book Union and the Government of Saint Petersburg. 

The event gives a uniqueopportunity to establish business relations with the largest Russian publishersand booksellers networks and gain access to international markets byestablishing contacts with literary agents, both foreign and Russian, workingabroad.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
