HCM City(VNA) - The 12th International Gastronomy Festival in HCM City showcasingspecial local and international dishes will be held from January 11-14 at Le VanTam Park in the city’s District 1.

The annual food fair themed “The Journey of Taste” will feature 100 booths inseven categories, including international cuisine, Vietnamese cuisine, streetfood, cuisine brands, beer garden, and entertainment.

A wide range of activities, including cooking demonstrations, talk showson Tet (Lunar New Year) dishes, bartender demonstrations, andtraditional music performances will also be held during the event.

Chefs from 13 five-star hotels will participate in a culinary contest with aspring-inspired menu at Rex Hotel in HCM City on January 10.

The event, organised by the city’s Department of Tourism in coordination withthe city’s Tourism Association, attracted 300,000 visitors last year.-VNA
