Ho Chi Minh City has recently ranked sixth in a survey of more than 12,000 people about the best cities for expatriates to live and work in, conducted by InterNations - the largest global community for expats.

The network’s Expat City Ranking 2021 concluded that the Malaysian capital city, KualaLumpur, is the top city for expatriates in 2021, surpassing 56 other cities around the world.
In second place is Spain's Malaga and Dubai comes inat the third place.
Results are based on respondents' satisfaction across fivecategories, including quality of life, ease of settling in, personal finance,housing and factors related to working overseas.
Participants in 186 countries rated more than 25 differentaspects of life overseas in each category./.
HCM City ranked 19th out of 86 cities globally for expats to live and work, and was only surpassed in Asia by Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, according to the Expat City Ranking 2020 by InterNations.
