During alocal reception on September 7 for CNN’s Business Development Director for the Southeast Asia ErinWilliams, Duc spoke highly of bilateral cooperation in popularising the city'stourism through various media platforms of CNN. Hesaid there remains more areas in which they could work together to createvaluable media products that bring mutual benefits, suggesting that they work oncommunication campaigns to attract foreign investment, especially in thepriority areas while introducing quality products and farm produce to internationalcustomers. Hailingthe city’s economic prospects, Williams said a significant portion of customers in CNN'secosystem comprises businesses and investors, and CNN is always attentive to thepreferences and investment wishes of its customers. CNNhas extensive experience in working with localities and countries worldwide inthis field and is ready to facilitate connections between the city and potentialinternational investors, she said. Expressingwillingness to foster cooperation in areas of interest with the city, she saidCNN is ready to partner with Ho Chi Minh City to launch tourism promotioncampaigns targeting high-end tourists with longer stays and higher spending, aswell as launch communication plans to popularise strengths in culture andpeople of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam, to audiences in other countries throughCNN's media channels./.
CNN wishes to resume tourism promotion cooperation with Hanoi, thus contributing to introducing the capital city’s cultural identity and valuable traditions to the world, Senior Vice President of CNN Robert Bradley told Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen at a meeting in Hanoi on October 4.
