Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City has become the only Vietnamese educational institution named in the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2019.

Hanoi (VNA) – Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City has becomethe only Vietnamese educational institution named in the Times Higher EducationUniversity Impact Rankings 2019.

The university was in top200 with a score range of 64.6-75.6.

It scored high ininternational collaboration, promotion of best practices and data publication.Other notable achievements included providing quality education, climate chancecombat action, and making the city it is in and the human settlements more safeand sustainable.

Ton Duc ThangUniversity is the first and only Vietnamese university to receive a four-starranking by the UK-based QS Stars University Rating System. In February thisyear, it was placed among the top 25 universities and research institutes inthe Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in terms of scientificresearch articles (ISI) published in the world's leading prestigious journals.

The Times HigherEducation University Impact Rankings this year assesses 462 universities aroundthe world. At the top are the University of Auckland (New Zealand), BritishColumbia and McMaster University (Canada) and University of Manchester (UK).-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
