Hanoi to run art creativity programme this month

A programme to inspire art creativity is scheduled to take place in Hanoi downtown between December 24 and 31, aiming to create an attractive multi-dimensional "dialogue" between creative arts in a cultural and artistic space.

Hanoi (VNA) – A programme to inspire art creativityis scheduled to take place in Hanoi downtown between December 24 and 31, aimingto create an attractive multi-dimensional "dialogue" between creativearts in a cultural and artistic space.

With its venue located at the municipal cultural and artcentre at No.22 Hang Buom street, Hoan Kiem district, the event featuresexhibitions, fashion shows, and the performances of calligraphy, sketching,experimental music, video art, and experimental traditional theater.

Talk-shows and round table discussions with artists,architects, and experts involved in creativity works inspired by traditionalheritage are also planned during the course of the programme. Notably, adiscussion on inspiring Hanoi’s creativity is expected to be an open exchangeamong managers, policy makers, and investors regarding the city’s potential, advantages,opportunities, and challenges; as well as to promote the formation of creativecommunities, and boosting the capital’s position domestically and regionally.

The organisation of the event will strictly follow pandemicprevention measures.

In 2019, Hanoi was designated as part of the UNESCO CreativeCities Network. Joining the network was a significant step for the capital city toraise its standing and create a new and more attractive image./.
