Hanoi to host Vietnam International Defence & Security Exhibition

Vietnam International Defence & Security Exhibition 2020 will take place in Hanoi from March 4-6, 2020, the organising board told a press conference in the capital city on July 25.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam International Defence &Security Exhibition 2020 will take place in Hanoi from March 4-6, 2020, theorganising board told a press conference in the capital city on July 25.

Co-organised by the Ministries of National Defence, Public Security,Industry and Trade, the Hanoi Advertising & International Fair JSC, theUK’s Clarion Events company, the event will gather hundreds of domestic andforeign suppliers, providing a platform for them to access advanced equipment andshare information about technology.

On display will be aircraft and airport spare parts,artificial intelligence, surveillance and logistics systems, weaponry, telecommunicationstechnology, among others.

The exhibition had been successfully held in the UK, Sweden,Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
