Hanoi tightens control of travel permits during social distancing

The People's Committee of Hanoi has issued an urgent request to strictly control the issuance and use of travel permits during the social distancing period implemented in the capital city.

Hanoi (VNA) – The People's Committee of Hanoi has issued an urgent requestto strictly control the issuance and use of travel permits during thesocial distancing period implemented in the capital city.

Thepandemic remains complicated partly because social distancing rules have notbeen strictly implemented or observed, according to the committee.

Inmany cases, travel permits have not been issued and used for the rightpurposes.

Inorder to control the spread of the infection, people are required to showtravel permits along with their identification cards, work schedulesand work related documents when they go out.

Thecity's committee also requests agencies and units to strictly implementDirective 17 and promote the application of information technology so staffcan work from home.

Thecity’s leaders assigned the police, People's Committees of districts, townsand wards to tighten inspection and supervision at COVID-19 checkpoints, makingsure travel permits are used correctly. Violations will be handledaccording to regulations./.
