Hanoi (VNA)꧑ – The Azerbaijani Embassy has presented New Year gifts to orphans in Hanoi, the Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) daily reported.

Embassy staff visited the Birla Children’s Village in Cau Giay district and presented gifts, including toys and candy, to more than 130 orphans aged between 1 and 18.
Director of the village Chu Dinh Diep thanked the embassy and said its efforts were significant to the children.
The Azerbaijani Embassy has engaged in a number of charitable activities targeting less privileged children in Hanoi over the last couple of years. Vietnam and Azerbaijan set up their diplomatic relationship in September 1992, and the embassy was opened in Hanoi in 2013.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
