Hanoi (VNA)🐈 – Hanoi’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform made its debut on June 28, marking a breakthrough in people’s health care of the capital city.

According to the Office of the municipal People’s Committee, each Hanoi resident has an EHR that is monitored and stored for life, and manages all activities related to his/her health.
The records are confidential, and only relevant people have access to the information, and have the right to decide whether to share personal information in their health records or not. As a result, people living in Hanoi can manage the personal health of themselves and their families on the records shared on the iHanoi application. In the coming time, the city will continue to implement analysis, assessment, and disease models to assess disease trends and situation in the city; and at the same time, research and integrate major technologies such as BigData and artificial intelligence (AI) into the system; and study plans to share people's health information to the Smart Health Operation Centre, and the Operation Centre of Hanoi. According to the municipal People's Committee, piloting electronic health records and personal health records brings about numerous benefits. Currently, Hanoi has synchronised more than 1.2 million people's health records on the e-identification app VNeID./.
