The four-day exhibition is a good opportunity for handicraft and gift producers and traders from across the country to advertise their products, seek new customers and expand their export markets, the event’s organisers said.
The organisers said that some 600 importers from 39 countries and territories, including Japan, Australia, Belgium and New Zealand, as well as the United States, Russia and Thailand, have registered to participate in the event.
The event is also expected to welcome 3,000 visitors. The previous show saw a total of 1,285 memoranda of understanding and contracts signed. Of the figure, 865 contracts worth 150 million USD were reached with foreign importers. Total retail sales of goods at the show exceeded 10 billion VND (450,000 USD ).-VNA
