Hosted by the Ministry of Health, the event, themed “You can control your asthma”, marked World Asthma Day.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Viet Tienstressed that bronchial asthma is a serious illness, and the healthsector has made great efforts to improve the quality of treatment,control and prevention of the condition.
He proposed that BachMai Hospital closely work with relevant sectors to swiftly implement aproject on bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) across the country in order to widely spread knowledge about thedisease in the community.
