Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi has been named one of top 13 destinations fortravellers in March by the US-based Business Insidermagazine.
The list is made based on analysis of airfare trends, climate data, and peak travel times.
March is the ideal time to visit Southeast Asian countries, andVietnam is no exception, the report said.
With average temperatures ranging from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius and colourfulflowers blooming, Hanoi is a good place for visitors to spend time roamingaround the old quarter, experiencing open-air eateries, and hearing the noiseof whizzing motorbikes.
The news website advises wandering around the Old Quarter in the city’sdowntown, an area it describes as “energetic and mazelike.” Hoan Kiem Lakeprovides a peaceful respite from the frenzy, as do numerous Buddhist templesand pagodas, it added.
A survey by British research firm BDRC Continentalfound 92 percent of interviewees saying ads on CNN have sparked interest intravelling to Hanoi city to discover is food, shopping, culture, and historicrelics.
