Hai Phong (VNA) ♐– A family residing in Uc Gian hamlet in the northern city of Hai Phong’s Kien Thuy district accidentally discovered four bombs while dredging a pond.

On May 9, a day after the discovery, a local task force arrived at the scene to transfer the bombs for safe disposal. According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dang Ba Nhinh, head of the Kien Thuy military command, the weapons were left over from the war. Each of them is 1.2 m long and weighs around 250 kg, he said.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
