Hai Duong learns urban management experience from Mexico
A delegation from the northern province of Hai Duong visited Mexico from November 13-19 to study this Latin American market and exchange experience in urban management.

Mexico City (VNA) – A delegation from the northern province of HaiDuong visited Mexico from November 13-19 to study this Latin American marketand exchange experience in urban management.
While in Mexico, Nguyen Manh Hien, Secretary of the provincial Party Committeeand Chairman of the provincial People’s Council had a working session withRamon Teller, who is in charge of Tecnoparque, the first Technology andBusiness Park in Mexico City. Experience in high-tech park management and developmentwas on the table at their meeting.
Visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico, Hien asked the embassy to studyagricultural market of the host nation, and help Hai Duong province exportlocal staples like litchi, guava and rosy-pulped grapefruit to the country.
Hien also met with Ismael del Toro, Mayor of Guadalajara city in Jalisco state,during which they highlighted their localities’ strengths and potential whilediscussing cooperative opportunities.
On the occasion, Miguel Angel Landeros, President of the Mexican BusinessCouncil for Foreign Trade of Western Mexico, took the delegation to visit thedigital innovative city, renowned De la Rosa cake production, and VIDAhigh-tech agricultural production group in Jalisco state, the second largeststate in Mexico and 10th largest in Latin American country in terms of economicpotential and gross domestic products (GDP).

For over four decades, the traditional friendship and all-round cooperation between Vietnam and Mexico have been reinforced and developed in many fields from politics-diplomacy, economy-trade to culture, education and health care, stated Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong.
Increasing cultural exchanges based on traditional friendship and cooperation as well as cultural and historical similarities have promote mutual understanding between Vietnam and Mexico.

A delegation of the Hanoi-based Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics led by its Deputy Director Nguyen Viet Thao paid a working visit to Mexico from August 27-30, aiming to exchange and learn from the country’s experience in personnel training, research and public administration.
A delegation of the Communist Review, a magazine of the Communist Party of Vietnam, paid a working trip to Mexico from October 9-13 to share press-related experiences.
As part of the ASEAN Day celebrations, the Vietnamese embassy will also host the ASEAN Family Day 2025 in Ottawa to foster solidarity and community spirit among ASEAN members in Canada.
State President Luong Cuong’s trip once again reaffirmed the Party and State’s foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification and multilateralisation of relations.
