Hai Duong (VNA) – A fair showcasing handicrafts and products underthe One Commune Once Product (OCOP) Programme was held in Hai Duong city, thenorthern province of Hai Duong on October 26.
This year’s event, featuring 120 pavilions of 20 provinces and citiesnationwide, aims to introduce the potential and strengths in agricultural andOCOP products of Hai Duong province in particular and localities nationwide ingeneral.
It also offers a chance for businesses in and outside Hai Duong to meet, exchangeand seek partnerships.
On display are agro-forestry-fisheries products, handicrafts, food andfoodstuffs, fruits and beverages, with clear origin and OCOP certification,plus many unique products from traditional villages.
According to organisers, the fair is organised to promote the OCOP Programme inthe 2018-2020 period, creating favourable conditions for rural sectors,traditional handicrafts and craft village tourism to develop in the process ofnational industrialisation and modernisation and international economicintegration.
The northern province of Phu Tho will develop about 50 products under the local One Commune-One Product (OCOP) programme, according to the province’s implementation plan for the programme until 2020.
