Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of the Party Central Committee’s Commissionfor Popularisation and Education led by Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the PartyCentral Committee and head of the commission, on June 15 visited andcongratulated central-level press agencies on the 96th VietnamRevolutionary Press Day (June 21).

The delegation visited the VietnamTelevision (VTV), Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, and RadioThe Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

At the meetings with the agencies’ leading officials, Nghialauded the press’s important contributions to the successful organization ofmajor events of the country over the recent past such as the 13th National Party Congress, theelections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-levelPeople’s Councils in the 2021-2026 term, and the 131st birthanniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh.

Affirming the leading position of the four central-levelpress agencies in the Vietnamese revolutionary press system, Nghia appreciated theirinnovation efforts to enhance the quality of popularisation work.

He expressed his belief that the four agencies as well asother press outlets will continue promoting their glorious tradition, fulfilling their assigned tasks, contributing to building a modern, professional, humane andeffective revolutionary journalism as the goal set out by the National Plan onPress Development and Management until 2025, and at the same time enhancing thecountry’s position and prestige in the international arena./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
