Atthe event on October 6, the University branch in the southern provinceof Binh Duong welcomed 200 new students and presented diploma to 24students of the first academic course and the master’s degree to 26others.
The Hessen Governor took this occasion to present gifts to new students.
TheGerman State of Hessen is a co-founder of the Vietnam-GermanyUniversity, which is part of Vietnam’s plan to establish fournew-model universities.
Established in 2008, theVietnam-Germany University operates following the model of Germanuniversities. It now enrolls 500 students in courses on engineering,high-tech and natural sciences.-VNA
