Officials from the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee held a get-together in Hanoi on August 27 for prominent overseas Vietnamese who visited the homeland for the National Day celebrations. The expats thanked the Party, State, VFF, and State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs for enabling them to return and attend the 70th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
They said they always give their hearts to the homeland and will work to contribute to the country’s construction and development.
They took the occasion to ask for further support in the teaching of Vietnamese language for their offspring and in doing business in the country.
