Francophone Film Festival to take place in Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s movie lovers will have a chance to enjoy the Francophone community’s cinema works winning international prestigious awards as 🐽a film festival will be held in Vietnam this moꦐnth.
The Francophone Film Festival 2016, jointly organised by the International Francophone Organisation (OIF) and the Vietnam Cinema Department, will take place in Hanoi, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City from March 17-31.
During the fortnight event, nine films will be on screen, including Timbuktu, Le Jour des Corneilles, and Belle et Sebastien (France); Kinshasa Kids, and Les Oiseauz de Passage ( Belgium); Tapis Rouge ( Switzerland); Le Choeur d’une Culture (Canada); and Asmma (Egypt).

The French language was honoured in Buenos Aires on March 19 with a string of cultural activities jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina and 30 foreign organisations on the occasion of the International Francophone Day.
