France-Vietnam job fair held in Hanoi, HCM City

The seventh France-Vietnam Job Fair (FVJF) has been held in Hanoi, serving as a bridge connecting Vietnamese, French and international companies based in Vietnam to graduates with international profiles.

Hanoi (VNA) - The seventh France-Vietnam Job Fair (FVJF) has been held in Hanoi, serving asa bridge connecting Vietnamese, French and international companies based inVietnam to graduates with international profiles.

The fair will move to HCM City in the next few days.

FVJF is an annual event that CCIFV has organised for over 10 years. It is anopportunity for international companies to promote activities in the localmarket and showcase their recruitment offers to qualified candidates in Hanoiand HCM City.

About 40 big namesparticipated in the sixth job fair in 2019, offering nearly 500 jobs. Due tothe pandemic it was postponed in the two following years and was rebooted in2022, thanks to the country's reopening. 

"Vietnam’s population is young, educated, and eager to succeed. Thesehighly appealing demographics are attractive to a growing number ofinternational companies moving to the country," VicePresident of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFV) LegrandPerruchot at the Hanoi event on May 22.

Around 40 companies participated in the FVJF 2022 in Hanoi, offering 450vacancies to job-seekers. The FVJF 2022 in HCM City is slated for May 28./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
