Hanoi (VNA) –൩ FPT Group was honoured seven times at a recent ceremony announcing awards of the Top 10 Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Companies of Vietnam in2021 hosted by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA).

The corporation and its affiliates earnedrecognition in all three core fields of information technology, digital transformation and new technologies, being named among the leading 10 firms in digital transformation platform, e-Governmentand smart cities solutions providers, among others. FPT has set a target to become one of the world’sleading 50 companies in providing comprehensive digital transformation servicesand solutions by 2030. It will focus on the research and development ofsolutions based on blockchain, low-code, artificial intelligence, cloud computing andanalystics technologies.

The organisation of the awards is among VINASA’s activities tojoin hands with the Government in realising the target of having 100,000Vietnamese digital technology firms by 2030, thereby meeting demand forsocio-economic development. This year, the awards also honoured outstandingbusinesses in new fields of technology such as Cloud computing, Edtech, PropTechand MedEd.

The Top 10 IT companies with impressivegrowth were announced for the first time to honour firms with high growthrates. Most of the honoured companies have been providing ICT services to internationalmarkets. They have been flexible in finding growth opportunities despitedifficulties caused by COVID-19.

✨ Vietnam launches six 4.0 technology training and talent networks

The networks bring together universities, research institutes and domestic and foreign businesses. Vietnam has issued many key policies to support semiconductor development, notably the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
