Hanoi (VNA) – A forum on how to improveVietnamese labourers’ skills will be held in Hanoi from November 15-16, heard apress conference in the capital on November 11.

Jointly organised by the Ministry of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs(MoLISA), the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Industry andTrade and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the event isexpected to attract 1,500 delegates, including vocational education managers andexperts.

Participant will focus their discussions on the role played by skilled humanresources in promoting labour productivity and national competitiveness; andthe importance of innovating and improving manpower training to improvethe skills of labourers.

Proposals at the forum will be the basis for relevant agencies to consider andtake measures to improve the quality of Vietnam’s human resources./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
