A severely ill sailor from the Philippines was brought ashore for emergency aid in the central coastal province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau on January 27.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau (VNA)💦 – A severely ill sailor from the Philippines was brought ashore for emergency aid in the central coastal province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau on January 27.

Nob Blegene Acusar, born in 1978, is a sailor on a Panama ship called THEOXENIA. He had a stomachache and could not move.
After being brought to Vung Tau, the sailor was quickly taken to the Vietnam – France Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for treatment. The Vung Tau Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre, Region 3, received an emergency signal from ship THEOXENIA on January 26.
The ship was traveling to Singapore from Go Gia Port in HCM City. Right after receiving the information, Region 3 dispatched ship SAR 272 to retrieve the ill sailor.-VNA
