Hanoi (VNA) - National football players have joined the effort toraise people's awareness of the COVID-19.
Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong, defenders Que Ngoc Hai, DoDuy Manh and midfielder Nguyen Tuan Anh spread the message on a video cliplaunched recently by the Ministry of Health.
Keeper Dung of HCM City FC said: “People should strictly follow advice for theGovernment and the Ministry of Health. We need to stay at home as much aspossible, and only go out for special reasons. Make sure you declare yourhealth status.”
Captains Hai and Phuong called on people to keep a safe distance from eachother and clean their houses frequently.
Manh, who is recovering from an ankle ligament injury, appealed for face masksto be worn by anyone who needs to go out, and reminded viewers to keep a 2m gapfrom the nearest person.
Midfielder Anh backed calls for people to wash their hands regularly with soapand sanitiser.
