The DIFF 2025 is the largest edition ever held, featuring ten teams from Vietnam, Finland, the UK, Portugal, Poland, the Public of Korea, Italy, Canada, and China. Each team showcased their nation’s identity through fireworks, music and storytelling, making the jury’s final selection especially challenging.
Themed “Danang – The New Rising Era,” the festival, which will take place from May 31 to July 12, is expected to be the most intense competition yet, bringing together top-tier teams from the world's leading fireworks hubs.
JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland won the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 (DIFF) after a breath-taking performance on the Han River with their final show Made of Young Generation.
The total number of tourists to the central coastal city of Da Nang in the first quarter was estimated at nearly 1.9 million, an increase of 23.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
More investment is needed to upscale the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) to a prominent event of the central city, helping to elevate the central beach city’s tourism and turn it into a leading event and festival destination in Asia, according to travel agencies in the city.
