Festival for children with disabilities held in HCM City

The 21st festival for children with disabilities was held on May 31 at the Culture and Labour Palace of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the International Children’s Day.

HCM City (VNA) – The 21st festival𝐆 for children with disabilities was held on May 31 at the Culture andLabour Palace of Ho 🥂Chi Minh City to celebrate the International Children’sDay.

Over 580 children from 16 schoolsfor children with disabilities in Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong delta Can Tho cityas well as the provinces of Dong Nai, An Giang and Ba Ria-Vung Tau participatedin the event. The festival created a playgroundfor children with disabilities to attend various activities from sports, artperformances to games challenges, helping enhance their life-skills andcommunity integration. An art performance took place underthe programme to raise fund for disadvantaged children. On June 1 evening, a programme, whichintroduces a project supporting surgery for children with cleft palate, will beheld at the same venue. -VNA
