The airport customs division found a female Vietnamese passenger named H.T.T.D., 32, on a flight from the Republic of Korea to HCM City, hiding 90,000 USD between the walls of a suitcase without declaration.
The money was divided into small bundles that were then wrapped with white paper.
The airport customs handed H.T.T.D. and the money to the relevant agency for further investigation.
On the same day, the airport customs detained a Malaysian passenger, Kaur Gurchara𓂃n Singh Manpal, 44, for carrying 5.39 kilograms of cocaine.-VNA
