FDI flow into Vinh Phuc surpasses 1 billion USD in 2021
The northern province of Vinh Phuc estimates to attract 35 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and 1.015 billion USD in both newly-registered and addition capital in 2021.
Vinh Phuc (VNA) – The northern province of Vinh Phuc estimates toattract 35 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and 1.015 billion USD inboth newly-registered and addition capital in 2021.
The value is equal to 253.75 percent of the set target, andup 50 percent against that of the same period last year, according to a reportby the provincial People’s Committee.
At present, Vinh Phuc has eight operating industrial parkswith 328 businesses and nearly 110,000 labourers.
This year, the province’s total budget collection isexpected to exceed 32 trillion VND (1.39 billion USD). Its budget revenues inrecent years have been largely contributed by FDI firms.
To continue attracting investments and promoting local socio-economic development, Vinh Phuc is focusing on implementing measures toensure pandemic prevention and control and step up socio-economic recovery anddevelopment flexibly and effectively.

The northern province of Vinh Phuc raked in close to 1.15 billion USD in investment during the first three quarters of 2021, a slight increase from the same period last year, despite economic uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic made the number of newly-established businesses during January-September in Vinh Phuc not high, the amount of registered investment in the northern province increased significantly compared to the same period last year.
The northern province of Vinh Phuc attracted 32 domestic investment projects with 16.4 trillion VND (723.3 million USD) in total capital and 54 foreign-invested ones worth totaling 994 million USD as of October 2021, up 110.2 percent and 122.7 percent year-on-year, respectively.
