Fashion show to spotlight traditional cultural, artistic values

Hanoi (VNA) – The first programme of the "VC fashion show – Buoc chan di san” series will be held at the Centre for Vietnamese Craft Village Quintessence in Bat Trang, Gia Lam, Hanoi on October 20.
Each collection at the programme will feature 15-20 designs, which are inspired by traditional cultural and artistic values.
Director of the show Hoang Cong Cuong said he wants to exploit the beautiful and unspoiled locations of Vietnam for the show.
After the opening show, the next programmes will be organise♊d in Tam Ch꧂uc pagoda in Ha Nam province; Mam Xoi (Tray of sticky rice) Hill in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai province; and an old church in Nam Dinh province./.
Model Nguyen Tran Huyen My, first runner-up at Miss Vietnam 2014, took the starring role at the “ao dai “ (traditional long dress) fashion show on August 26 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Latest fashion designs made from renowned Bao Loc silk, and traditional brocade costumes of K’ Ho and Chau Ma ethnic minority groups will be introduced at a fashion show in Da Lat city, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on December 26.
From November 20, a series of cultural activities entitled “Thang Long Memories” were held at many locations in Hanoi's Old Quarter to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
